I love my Knitted Weighted Blanket. It’s amazing at providing comfort and soothing my nervous system, enabling better sleep and health. The only disadvantage is that due to its size and weight it’s a bit tricky to wash. This is my second one as after over 3 years of daily usage my old one felt a bit worn out. I was considering the other weighted blanket, but chose to stay with the knitted version, as it felt nicer and also could be stretched to accommodate 2 people.
I bought this for my grandson who had been having trouble falling asleep. The first night with his new blanket, he immediately fell asleep and didn't want to leave it to go to school. This blanket is a real winner and we highly recommend it.
Ultra Warm Blanket – Excellent Quality I purchased this blanket for camping, and it provides excellent warmth. I did not expect it to be so large and thick, but this only added to its comfort and quality. The dark grey colour looks great, and the two-sided design is very practical, with one fluffy side and one smooth side. So soft, comfortable and a perfect weight. I am a much less anxious sleeper and no longer toss and turn like a rotisserie chicken. I love the removable cover, so my pets get to sleep alongside me and we can all stay comfortable.

I have been using this weighted lap blanket for a few years and have found it incredibly comforting. I had that for like 3-4 years without having to replace it. Unfortunately, while travelling within Canada, i packed it in my carry-on luggage, and it was confiscated by the airport security because it contains weighted beads. I was very upset to lose it. As soon as i returned to AU, i purchased another one. I am very happy to have it back, as it’s extremely relaxing/calming/soothing to use. It also fits almost perfectly inside a standard pillowcase, making it easy to protect the weighted blanket. All you need to do is replace the pillowcase weekly to keep it clean.

I was almost planning on returning it as the circular thing was not fitting my face/eyes properly. It took me a week to realize that it was just a Velcro, attached to the mask. Now, over to the more serious stuff., this is no joke., but as someone who suffers insomnia, this piece is magical. I actually had a afternoon ~nap~ deep sleep with this one. One minor downside, when you are not using it, it looks like a bra.

I'm so happy with the quantity of this product, soft and cosy. The removable cover was essential as it's for my child, easy to remove and wash. So far my boy has been sleeping much better with it and my husband has been using it during the day, he has asked if I can get and adult one for him too 😍 My only preference you be for some more fun colour covers for kids.

I bought the king size Neptune blanket. The weight is good however I have had to remove the cover as it kept slipping off the bed.

What are the dimensions of the Neptune Blanket?
The Queen Neptune Blanket is 152cm x 203cms. It comes in 4 weight sizes, 5Kg, 7Kg, 9Kg and 11Kg. The Child Neptune Blanket comes in 2 x sizes and 2 x weights. 2.2Kg (76cm x 102cm) and 3.3Kg (105cm x142cm). The 5Kg Adult blanket can also be used for older children.
What weight blanket should I get?
We at Neptune Blanket recommend around 10% of your body weight. We have a range of adult weights available to suit all shapes and sizes and also have children blankets available. Please note, purchasing a heavier blanket will not necessarily show better results, we recommend you stick with 10% of your body weight.
What are the blankets made out of?
Our blankets are made with top quality materials. The micro beads are glass which make them sustainable. The inner blanket is made out of cotton and the outer cover is a soft minky material. Our summer covers are 600 thread count cotton for a lighter feel.
Are the Neptune Blankets washable?
Yes, our blankets are machine washable. Simply remove the inner blanket from the outer cover and wash separately on a gentle cycle. To dry the blanket, we recommend air dry or tumble dry on an air only setting. Although our blankets are safe to tumble dry, we advise not to do that too frequently because it could cause the integrity of the fabrics to deteriorate.
Cover Colour Options
3 new minky blanket cover colours!! Neptune Blanket covers are available to purchase in Camel Beige, Dusty Pink and Sapphire Blue. The default colour is slate grey.
Will the blanket be too hot?
When using the cover, the blankets give a medium amount of warmth. The inner blanket is made of cotton and the outer cover is a soft minky material. Remember, these blankets are designed for weight so they are able to be used all year round. We have now also added Summer cotton covers to our range. Our summer covers are 600 thread count cotton for a lighter feel.
Why is my blanket pooling to the middle?
If your blanket is pooling during use, we recommend you tie the loops inside the cover to the blanket which will keep the weight evenly distributed.
